atip(frm thailand) zzz-ing...

oops!! i'm soo gonna get whacked for posting this.. ofcourse, i don't waste all my cam space for anymore zz-ing pics.. my dad took my memo card back to s'pore when they came in dec.. they wanted to develop the other photos they took during tt time.. so i only have v.limited space in my cam.. pity pity..

we were travelling on small bumpy roads covered with thick snow.. there was big blizzard the night before..

outside scenery wasn't tt great cuz everything was dark greenish-browny-black (veggies) and white(snow)..

there was a barn tho.. and its RED !! sad theres no chickens or piggs or cows or sheeep.. like duhh, its winter here..

our first activity was to hike up a baby mountain.. the distance from our cabin was already long enough and when we reached 1/3 of the baby mount. everyone refused to move an inch.. all of us were too tired so we flopped onto the ground and ate snow.. shekinah snow is GOOD..

FINALLY.. yiyang and i reached the TOP..

see the background?? its actually a valley beneath there.. the white part is a frozen meandering river.. now u get a gd pic of how high we hiked.

the wind was really strong.. it messed up my hair but it felt nicee.. we took pics of eachother before screaming our heads off.. then listen to the echoes of our beeeeeeeeautiful voices :D

now for the finale.. after moving thru dried up trees and bushes and THICK SNOW.. we reached the highest peak of the whole hike.. fyi i'm standing on the DOWN SLOPE so tt the background scenery could be fully captured.. orelse only a small part of the valley (like in the prev pic) would be captured..

two steps backwards and i'll roll down the 'baby mountain'.. you almost lost your beloved shining..

we back to the cabin and i was sliding my way down.. on my butt.. my camera was 'frozen' then and the lens refused to come out.. so i had to trouble ms charrington to help me take a pic of me on my butt.. i have yet to receive it.. but when i do, i'll put it in my friendster with all the other 'late' pics.. NEXT UP was snowshoeing -- more commonly known as xcountry skiing.. i was abit disappointed cuz i had thought it was downhill skiing.. oh well, next time!!

it was still funn tho my skies kept falling off.. we skied for a long way, and i fell down soo many times, getting snow in both my mitts and up my pants.. basically, whenever there was a downslope, i would ski for the first few metres, scream then throw myself into the snow.. i wasnt taught how to stop the right way.. upslopes were no better cuz no matter how you try to walk up (on skies), you side backwards.. but HEYY, i got up the first two slopes.. sadly on the last upslope, i slid into the bush and my skies got tangled in the branches... heez..

after lunch, we had a competition.. our task was to make a fire using ONE match.. and get half a tin of boiling water.. on the snowy grounds. my group of 4 won.. yayy..! throw me outside in the cold and i can barbeque food.. weeeeeeee..

soo many colours(considering its winter) in the background.. who says winter is dull??

after that, we had snowboarding.. we had to climb the humongous hill and slid down. one of the korean guys got thrown out of his circular board and rolled all the way down the hill.. gd thing he was not injured.. i only made it 3/4 way.. its really frightening if you see it from the top.. funn tho!!

i knw it looks small..the hill... but trust me.. i started sliding halfway up this monster.. had to go on fours soo tt i could reach 3/4 of hill.. veryyy veryy steeep

i was spun round and round on my circular board.. and i DID NOT scream.. woohoo.. like how wierd is tt..?? Fine.. i lied.. i did scream, but only for awhile cuz once i opened my mouth, snow started filling it up.. so i had to 'force' myself to shut it.. my toque, scarf, mitts, ears, nose, mouth.. became white.. when i reached the ground, i was gagging on the melted snow halfway down my throat.. just then, my cam had no more memo space so ms ebenal failed to take my pic.. sooo HAHA.. you dont get to see how awful i look.. hrmm... welllllll............ come to think of tt.. mebbe i DID look... ermm.. possibly cute?!! okayy then, its up to your imagination..

i looked pretty much like him.. mebbe a lil' snowier cuz my whole scarf (initially green) became a white one.. my toque looks just as snowy as his.. and i had snow stuffed WAY UP my pants.. gd thing i wore jeans inside..

snowboarding was the last activity of the day and so we went home after this. Btw, i wore high-heeled boots (i stupidly anyhow borrowed them frm one of my friends).. me being the chao(1) ji(2) wu(2) di(2) unlady-like type.. wore these boots for only one day and had sore feet and toes on that very night..

yea.. so tts abt all.. everything there.. the scenery, animals, breeze etc... were really really...err.. nicee?..aye...you know what i mean!! its just like ur in a fairyland.. this pic below.. reminds me of some fairytale in my dreamland.. misty.. soothing.. serene.. peaceful.. quiet..
